Lizzy Ojo Martens
The events she has helped organize have introduced hundreds of people to a vast range of snow and water sports, as well as camping, climbing, trail building, and more. Though she loves the beauty that adventuring uncovers, her ultimate joy while outside is found in conversations, movement, and connecting with people. Lizzy is dedicated to growing BIPOC representation in the outdoor space and loves that Colour the Trails is facilitating access and skill progression with mentorship programs, discounted lessons, and most importantly, a community that starts with an invitation, to paraphrase CTT's founder, Judith Kasiama.
Outside of CTT, Lizzy spends her 9-5 as a marketing and communications professional. She has worked in a variety of sectors including CPGs, higher education, and her current home in the mental health non-profit world. When she’s not working, you can find her skiing, trail running, or dancing depending on the season.
